We’re back! Can you believe it’s already the third week of August?? We have a brand new week of Stamford happenings for you and two bonuses this week:

This is by no means a complete list of everything going on around town. We try to find you a good mix of events from business networking to family friendly things to do, to fitness fun and more. You never know what will make the list and you may even find a new adventure right here in Stamford!

Exquisite Miniatures exhibit in the Arcade of the Bendel Mansion. 50 paintings by miniature artists  by Wes and Rachel Siegrist that look so real, they look more like photos than paintings! Ongoing event through Sept. 21st. Click Here for Info

Stamford Happenings: August 6-10th!

A new week is upon us and we are here to give you our latest finds of some different events happening around the city. Stamford is more than bars and restaurants (believe it or not) and we wanted to start sharing events that will give you some new ideas of what’s going on and maybe get you out there and exploring a little.
This is by no means is this a complete list of everything going on around town. Call it a “sampling of fun stuff.” Who knows, you may discover something new!
PLEASE NOTE: Because of the time involved in doing these lists, I’m going to start breaking the weekly lists into two posts: Monday thru Friday and then Saturday and Sunday.

Monday August 6th:

Stamford Town Center (grand court): Hosted by the Stamford Museum and Nature Center, kids ages 2-10 can go and learn all about Nocturnal Animals! This hour long program is FREE, runs from 9-10am and will feature some live creatures of the night.  Click Here for Info
Ferguson Library Weed/Hollander Branch: Sprinkler Shindig for the little guys 2 and under. Bring swimsuits and towels and get ready for a water themed story and sprinkler fun! Click Here for Info

A new month is upon us Stamford and we wanted to start doing weekly posts of some different events happening around the city that are different from our nightly happenings lists. Stamford is more than bars and restaurants (believe it or not) and we thought we’d put together a list of some dates that might get you out and about this month.
