There is an incredibly cool event coming to the Terry Connors Rink on September 8th. You’re now thinking, “but it’s only July why post now?” We are posting this now because this is a super cool event that must be registered for early and is on a first come-fist served basis.  Oh and did I mention it’s FREE?!?!

Growing up a N.Y. Rangers fan myself, I’m already super jealous of the kids who are going to get to participate in this!

The New York Rangers are once again teaming up with USA Hockey to encourage kids to Try Hockey for Free as they host lessons throughout the Tri-State area including, Stamford Youth Hockey – Please note this event will take place at Terry Conners Ice Rink in Stamford.

Each Session will include:

Introductory on-ice lesson with professional instruction
Free rental skates and loaner equipment
Appearance and autographs with a New York Rangers alum
Exclusive New York Rangers hockey stick for each participant
This program is designed for children ages 5-9 years old with little or no skating or hockey experience.

Each Session is limited to 85 participants and space will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Pre-registration is required. Please check the schedule below and register for the Session of your choice. Please limit registration to one session and one location per participant in order to provide as many children as possible with the chance to try hockey.
